Couldn't be closer to Liverpool Lime Street station! The rooms were very clean, the shower very powerful even on the 6th floor (my pet hate is dribbly showers!!) and the breakfast was delicious.Free wi-fi just finished off the experience. Faultless performance!

Called the Liner Hotel back in February 2010 to make enquires about getting married there. Although there was only to be the Bride and groom and four guests they could not have been more accommodating.
April 22nd 2010 at 5pm was the big day. At 4pm I put on my dress (oh this is Ann typing by the way not Alan?) I bent down and the zip went!!!!!!! Panic all round you may have guessed.
I have to say that Jennifer the wedding co coordinator and the Hotel staff were amazing. They put me in my dress and stitched me up in it. I can never thank them enough for saving the day.
The hotel was fantastic the food was fab and we will most certainly be staying there again.
Once again thank you to all of the staff you really are the best
“good position, helpful friendly staff...”
Just back from a two night stay in the Liner Hotel. We arrived early and were told that our room was not ready but we could leave our bags. The consierge was friendly and our bags taken from us straight away. Check in later that day was efficient. The room was spotless with a nice modern bathroom. The breakfast the next morning was self service and really nice with plenty of everything on offer. All in all a very nice Hotel with friendly staff and good value for money.... I would not hesitate in recommending this hotel and would definitly stay here again!
"Excellent"
We booked tickets for a band playing at the O2 Academy, Liverpool so I looked for hotels near by and found this one. I booked the super sailor weekend deal. We arrived in the afternoon and parked the car in the hotel car park, although it was nearly full we found a space. The reception staff were friendly and check in was a breeze. The room was exactly as we expected (having read other reviews on this site) the bed was big and very comfortable, the room and bathroom were very clean, bright and modern. We ate in the brassiere – if you are on the super sailor deal make sure you let the waiting staff know when you are seated, this will avoid the embarrassment of having the standard menu replaced with a much smaller laminated one! The food was ok – nice size portions. We didn't bother with the afternoon tea. The Castaway bar is great; it’s a bit different to your average hotel bar in that you almost feel like it isn’t part of the hotel however the prices remind you that you are in a hotel. The food is good bar food, reasonably priced. The breakfast was spot on, plenty of choice, the staff were very attentive and helpful. Our room was serviced while we were at breakfast, which we felt was extremely efficient. Liverpool city centre is a five-minute walk and if you are planning on arriving by train Liverpool Lime Street is right next door. The O2 Academy is literally a two-minute walk; upon leaving the gig we had a drink in our hand in the Castaway bar with in minutes. A good weekend and an excellent hotel.
