Terms & Conditions for the Liner Hotel
Reservations
Your room is reserved up to 12.00 noon on the arrival date. You must guarantee your reservation at the time of booking. All non guaranteed rooms will be released three days prior to arrival.
You can guarantee your room by giving your credit or debit card details at the time of booking or paying for your room in full.
Payment may be made by cash, cheque or credit/debit card. We accept the following credit/debit cards: MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club, Visa, Switch/Maestro, and Delta. Cheques to the amount of a current cheque guarantee card issued by a major UK bank are also accepted when supported by such a cheque card.
The Liner Hotel must receive all cheques at least seven (7) working days before the arrival date. The Liner Hotel regrets that if a cheque arrives late or is dishonoured, it may not be able to keep the room available.
For any special offers, you must quote your ‘offer code’ at the time of making your reservation as to do so after, the offer would not be applicable as amendments can not be made from the date your reservation was confirmed. We reserve the right to withdraw any offer at any such time and subject to reasonable attempts to contact guests who are holding such offers.
Please note that any ‘offer code’ quoted can not be used in conjunction with any other offer. We regret we can not reserve a room without an appropriate credit/debit card to guarantee the room.
Pricing
The accommodation prices quoted when you book are ‘from’ rates and prices are per Cabin / bedroom per night, based on up to two adults sharing a standard twin or double room, on a Bed & Breakfast basis. Price includes service and VAT at 17.5%. Prices are valid from 1st November 2006 until further notice. Prices are subject to availability. The Liner Hotel reserves the right to review its room prices from time to time. If you make a reservation more than one month in advance, the quoted room rate may change before the date of your stay at The Liner Hotel.
The Liner Hotel aims to inform you before it makes price increases, The Liner Hotel reserves the right to charge the room price current on the arrival date or you may cancel the reservation without charge.
For guaranteed reservations, if the price has increased by the time you stay at The Liner Hotel, you will be entitled (even if you arrive after 12.00noon) to cancel your reservation without charge and with a full refund if you have already paid.
Please note that due to events that are staged in the City, higher rates may be applicable in line with the above policies.
Methods of Payment
Payment by credit/debit card or cheque may be made on departure. We accept the following credit/debit cards: MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club, Visa, Switch/Maestro, and Delta. Cheques to the amount of a current cheque guarantee card issued by a major UK bank are also accepted when supported by such a cheque card.
Payment for your room by cash must be made on arrival at The Liner Hotel.
Customers paying with cash are required to provide identification on check-in. Acceptable forms of ID are: Current Driving Licence, ID Card, Passport, (must have photo identity) Credit or Debit Card, recent utility bill or bank statement.
Cancellations and Amendments
If you cancel a room after 12.00noon on the arrival date, you will be charged for one night’s accommodation per room booked.
In the case of cancellations, a cancellation reference will be given and should be retained as proof of cancellation.
Amendments to reservations are subject to availability and cannot
be guaranteed.
If you decide to shorten your stay with us, you must inform us by 12.00noon on that day otherwise you will be charged the cost of one night’s accommodation per room booked.
Group Bookings
The Liner Hotel considers a Group a maximum of five (5) rooms and our Group Booking Procedures will apply. Please contact the Reservation Department at The Liner Hotel for details.
Special Requests
We are happy to assist with any special requests although we stress that special requests cannot be guaranteed.
Family Rooms offer accommodation for two Adults and up to two Children aged 15 and under plus a Child under two (2 ) years in a cot, or a maximum of two (2) Adults.
We do have a selection of Smoking and No Smoking rooms and we ask you to request your preferred room type upon making your reservation. These are subject to availability.
The Liner Hotel have rooms which are specially adapted for guests with disabilities. If no disabled room is available at The Liner Hotel, we will advise you at the time of your query and endeavour to assist where possible.
Alternatively if you have difficulty walking but do not require a specially adapted room, you may request a room near the lifts and reception for
easier access.
The Liner Hotel will make every possible effort to accommodate your personal requirements, all rooms are subject to availability. We sincerely apologise in advance if your particular requests can not be met.
Check-In/Check-Out
Cabins/bedrooms are normally available from 2pm on the day of arrival.
We recommend that guests state their estimated time of arrival at the time of reservation. The Liner Hotel will endeavour to accommodate early arrival rooms however are unable to guarantee this. To guarantee access to a room prior to the pre-stated check-in time, the room must be reserved from the night prior.
Please let us know if you expect to arrive after 11.00pm.
There is a pre-authorisation of £50.00 per night for each night of your stay via
a valid credit or debit card. This facility will enable you to charge any meals/drinks to your room and you simply settle your bill on the day of departure.
Your room must be vacated by 11.00am on the day of departure. Failure to leave your room by this time will result in additional charges up to and including the cost of one night’s accommodation.
And finally…
We regret that with the exception of guide dogs, no pets are allowed in
The Liner Hotel.
Reservations for rooms are non-transferable and must not, under any circumstances, be sold or otherwise transferred to a third party who is not
a member of your group
